Soooo as the to-do list suggests, I'm getting the ball rolling (or trying) for Goddess of Rain. Still at the almost-done stage, hoping in a month or so to be able to start getting it all set up online to start. Now, that must sound a bit interesting… I do want very badly to have a comic site at which any of my works can be read, but of course, domain names cost money. Because of this, resolution #1 was for me to get a job. At first this should be painless as I venture into every shop within walking distance, but even the mall requires a bus ride, and transit costs money.

… So there's just one problem: My current bank account balance is 97 cents.

Now I beg ALL the time for commissions. I swear I'm cheap- screentoned work for just $5!! D: I've been depending on the occasional babysitting job the past semester which was fine because I had to focus on getting off probation (and I did!) but it really only helped me keep money in the bank so I could feed myself in the city :/ I love my school but the upper west side is expensive as hell.

So, yes, spread the word, I'm selling commissions so I can eat and search for a job so I can start my webcomic!! (My dream plan was to be able to present it so that the final chapter is posted xmas of 2011, but that seems impossible now ;_; fail.

oh, yeah… a premium membership would be AWESOME as well. You'll get fantastic art, promise <3

I'm sure you've already seen a bucketload of these but I thought I'd write one anyway.

For myself and my family, 2009 was full of more misfortune than luck. I was almost kicked out of college (my own fault), entered a shitty relationship that I gladly got out of, but not after heartbreak, my cousin's gf got pregnant (on purpose) at age 14 and then dumped him after having a miscarriage, my mother's fiance died at age 40, my brother was dumped the day after by his girlfriend (and she knew his birthday was just days away), I had yet another birthday where I invited everyone and only one person (~KirakoRora this time) showed up(though my actual bday party with ~Bncabug and our friend Gene was generally great), my aunt decided to foster two babies who turned family vacation into a non-vacation, almost torture... Ok I know there are other things but I'm out of it. XD I can't remember right now.

I hope 2010 will be a might brighter year for all of us, or, at least me, because I managed to get my grades all the way up and so I won't be kicked out :>

Now I must leave before this blaring siren that is this whiny spoiled two year old makes me drill a hole in my skull. G'day.

I'm assuming that since my secret santa thing was due from the 22-27, that my pic was already drawn by whoever is doin' that, so new journal. AIGHT!

Soooooo it's officially xmas eve here in the nyc. If you don't know I'm an atheist so I only do the gifting and family togetherness (halfway) and the eating… yeah just minus all the jesus…ness… Apparently I'm in the only family that's technically godless for three gens both ways (mom's side is all buddhist) so yeah, good times. Technically my dad's girlfriend is jewish but she only does the non-relgiousy stuff as well. "Um… the menorah's in the garage, I'm not getting it out" I lol'd

SRSLY, I'll draw you something. Full color. It'll just be late because I leave xmas day for Washington (like I said, half the fam + 2 foster babies that totally drive me crazy + my cousin's psycho weeb girlfriend who thinks my four years of art school will rub off on her and make her a better artist) AND I DON'T GET BACK until the 6th.

Currently I'm trying to type up what I've got so far of the pseudoscript to Goddess of Rain… so far 80 pages became 54, fun times.

Teh lulz thing about this being the day my sub dies is stuff still says I'm a sub but then it's got messages sprinkled everywhere like "BETCH YO SUB IS GONE"

and yes, sorry, I know, it's a "premium membership", but last time I got one it was called a sub so screw you guys, I'm goin home.
