Ok~ This is a different kind of contest from ones I have made before. Basically, that's because I've never written any sort of pretty poetic story with characters that are given no description. But that is what Pearls is all about.

So~ Here's the contest.

1. Read my poem Pearls.
2. Create an art work inspired by, or telling part of the story of Pearls. You can use one stanza, or use the whole entire story to inspire your piece.
3. This can be illustration only. Digital or traditional, doesn't matter. But photomanipulation is a no-no because then the look of the mermaid and human isn't your original design. :<
4. For people who know me in real life, please refrain from making the mermaid look like me or the human like the guy it was about. The idea is that the story is based off of my own life and feelings, but isn't directly about me. :>

Due Date: SATURDAY, JUNE 7TH. I'm still giving a lot of time, but nonetheless, I am getting slightly impatient, because I got so very many messages saying people would enter and I see nothing.

Prizes:
First~ Full-body CG, up to 3 people
Second~ Half-body CG or colored pencil, up to 2 people
Third~ Chibi CG, colored pencil, or marker, up to 2 people

And 5 runner ups will get candy-style art. :3
